A Follow-Up To A Great Start

The last medical camp opened our eyes to how many people are eagerly waiting and hoping for an opening where their own lives or dear one’s lives could be changed via timely medical care. It became obvious that we had to have a follow-up at Sendhwa so we could provide care to more people who are in need. As a result, a free surgical camp was conducted from the 27th of November to the 2nd of December, 2022.

This time, a total of 75 surgeries were performed by our Surgical team, over 5 days’ time. The team undertook surgeries related to appendix, hernia, thyroid, haemorrhoids, and other abdominal surgeries. The camp changed the lives of many people being touched and transformed. During this time, the organization also distributed food, milk, and free medicines for the patients. On the last day of the camp, the Collector Shivraj Singh Verma honored the Navjeevan Team for all the work it had done by presenting a memento to our Medical Director, Dr. Babitha Kallimel.
