Bhudhuri had been walking with a large, painful wound beneath her right foot, for fifteen years. The festering wound developed into a large ball of flesh on her feet. The surgery for Bhudhuri was scheduled for the first day of medical camp, but it was postponed as she was anaemic. The medical team performed the surgery on her on the third day, after giving her a blood transfusion. After a successful operation, Bhudhuri was relieved of pain and is now on the path to a new life.
